Grader Operator

*Modern Construction *has been extensively serving the heavy civil construction industry for over 80 years. We pride ourselves in having a rich history of roadbuilding, highway and municipal paving. We are currently seeking a Grader operator to join our company.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Grader operations include but not limited to granular and borrow placement, subgrade prep, and fine grading for paving works. Perform other duties as assigned.
* Pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks.
* Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
* Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that projects are completed properly.
* Report on mechanical issues and assist with minor repairs when required.
* Follow all company safety guidelines and protocols. Ensure safety of fellow employees.

*Requirements:*

* Proven experience operating motor grader in a construction environment.
* Valid drivers licence in good standing.
* Strong understanding of safety procedures and machinery operation.
* Willingness to work in a team environment.
* GPS controlled equipment experience would be considered an asset

*Salary/Wage:* Pending assessment of experience and skill level. Overtime eligibility begins after 50 hours per week.

*Location : *Various job sites in southeastern New Brunswick, primary in the Greater Moncton are.

Pay: $32.00-$35.00 per hour
