APHL is a key part of a not-for-profit housing organization founded in the Maritimes and we are partnering with Appropriate Housing Matters Inc (AHM) in recruiting for this position.
We are a leading Social Purpose Enterprise Management company providing services for co-operative, non-profit, and condominium properties. We offer accounting, enterprise management, consultation and advisory services, and also assist with real estate development.
We are currently seeking a Volunteer Leadership Development located in our Moncton office. The Affordable Housing sector is built upon Volunteers working to help their community. Volunteers are aware, informed, and capable and they are critical to sustainability of affordable housing in our communities. Volunteers face many barriers to participation and effectiveness and need help to develop their awareness and knowledge.
*Role Description*
* Meet Volunteers in their home and at meeting environments.
* Identify areas of improvement for Volunteers individually and as a leadership group.
* Deliver resource information to Volunteers individually and as a leadership group.
* Coach Volunteers individually and as a leadership group.
* Become the “go to” resource for Affordable Housing Volunteer Leadership Development in the Maritimes.
* Works within a team of specialists environment.
*Qualifications*
* Mature, experienced, self-driven
* Very strong inter-personal communicator
* Adult Education background
* English and French language
* Strong personal computer skills
* Ability to travel within the Maritimes
* Travel expenses are reimbursed.
Successful candidate will provide a copy of the RCMP Criminal Background check, have a valid driver's license and their own vehicle.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
