Goguen Truck & Trailer Repair is looking for a dedicated and skilled Heavy Truck Mechanic to enhance our team in Moncton, NB. This full-time, permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to contribute to the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty trucks and equipment, ensuring they operate at peak performance.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems on heavy-duty trucks.
* Utilize computerized diagnostic equipment to identify faults.
* Repair or replace defective parts and components as necessary.
* Conduct safety inspections and road tests.
* Maintain accurate service and repair records.
* Adhere to workplace health and safety procedures.

*Work Environment*

Our mechanics work in a air-conditioned shop during summer time, equipped with the necessary tools, equipment, and safety gear.

*Qualifications & Requirements*

* Certification in Heavy Equipment or Truck & Transport Mechanics would be an asset, or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 3 years of experience with heavy-duty trucks.
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
* Knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulic systems.
* Able to work both independently and collaboratively.
* Valid driver's license (Class 1 or 3 is an asset).
* Attention to detail and effective communication skills.
