Asphalt Roller Operator

Hogan Paving Ltd out of Fredericton, NB has expanded to Moncton with the purchase of an asphalt plant in Berry Mills. Hogan Paving is a family owned company and has been in business for 35 years. As part of our growth in the Moncton market, we are looking for a variety of operators, rakers and labourers to join our team.

We offer competitive wages, RRSP matching, and full company paid health plan. Successful candidates will be working in the greater Moncton area on residential and commercial paving projects.

*Responsibilities*

* Work with your crew to help successfully complete residential and commercial paving projects.
* Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Follow project specifications and safety guidelines to complete tasks accurately and securely.
* Assist with other construction activities as required.
* Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.
* Maintain a clean work environment and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.

*Qualifications*

* A minimum of 2 years experience as a roller operator.
* Mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment is an asset.
* Valid commercial driver’s license is required for most positions.
* Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites.
* Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials when necessary.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 9 months

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
